Hi I'm Gina

I was raised on the beaches of Florida. I work with the local Medical Alliance, the PTO & Church. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family, sports, reading, photography and helping in my community. I got my BA in Public Relations and used it until my children arrived...now my job is Stay-At-Home Mom and I love it. I grew up in a double-income home and always wished my mom could stay home with me and looked forward to the day I could stay home with my children. It's a blast. Way better than any other job I've ever had. My husband & I got married when we were both in undergrad and then he continued on with another 10 years of schooling to become a doctor. Glad to be done with that. One thing I learned through all of his training was that the Church is the same everywhere. Every city we moved to we had instant family. The world-wide aspect of the gospel is incredible.

Why I am a Mormon

My family went to the Mormon Church off and on while I was growing up. Around Junior High School, my friends started straying from the standards I had been taught and I knew I had to make a decision. I started attending church activities and saw the impact they had on my life. I didn't always love it, but kept going. As I look back, I am so thankful that my mother had the foresight to encourage me to stay involved. Through activity, study, & prayer I soon realized that what I had been taught was true. Time and time again I received recognizable feelings that pointed to God, His reality and the truthfullness of His Church.

How I live my faith

I do my best to live my faith daily. Not only by keeping up with the vital aspects of prayer & scripture study but also through service in the Church. I teach the youth in the Church and I work with the community through service organizations, service events, and family fun activities.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

The Bible teaches us that everyone must be baptized to enter into the Kingdom of God. Many people on the earth never get the chance to hear about Jesus, baptism, or even the Bible. I know that God loves us enough to make his plan fair and available for all of His children. Show more Show less

What is the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. The Bible testifies of Christ's visit to His people in Jerusalem and The Book of Mormon testifies of His visit to His people in the Americas. It makes perfect sense to me that a loving Savior would not just visit one group of people on the earth to teach "His Way." Show more Show less
