Hi I'm Stacie

I am a stay at home mom with 4 crazy kids. I am a certified bookworm, who loves art and history and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am wife and mother. I have 4 wild and crazy kids who keep me young. I am married to a great guy. We have been married for 14 years now and it has been a great adventure. I love to read, cross stitch, read some more and generally be a part of my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to be born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. So all my life I have been taught about Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father God. I know that they love me beyond anything that I can imagine and because of that they have given me to know the gospel. I know this church to be the whole truth on the earth today and that the peace I have in my life is a direct result of living the commandments of the Lord. I have trials and hardships everyday. Life is not easy, but through my faith in Christ and sure knowledge that scriptures bring, I am able to more fully achieve my potential as a daughter of God. I know that this the true church on the earth. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and Thomas S. Monson is our living prophet today. I know that revelation has not ceased and that miracles happen. I know that when I am following the commands of the Lord and his servants I have peace. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me. And I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that my Savior Jesus Christ lives.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in may different ways. First and foremost I am a mother and I live my faith by teaching my children how to be the best they can be. Through example and teaching everyday we work at being better people. We say our prayers, read our scriptures, do service to those in need and try to work together to strengthen our home and family. I have also been called to work with the cub scouts in our ward. I am the Bear Leader and work to help my 9 year boys to achieve their rank in this program. I am a visiting teacher, which mean that I go out every month and visit women I have been given in our ward to teach, edify, and befriend. I don't swear or drink or do anything that would bring me away for Christ. Or at least I try. I do yell at my kids some and get angry but I work every day to be better and live what I know to be true. I am not perfect but I am trying to be a better person every day.
