Hi I'm Brandon

I grew up in a deaf home. I love to dance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a ramdom, spontanous, fun guy that loves just about anything and everyone! I said I love to dance, but who doesn't when you have a great song playing and your body cannot stop bopbing to the beat. I always try to be myself in any situtition, and just enjoy life. If you asked me "is the glass of chocolate milk half full or half emety?" I'd tell you that the glass is half emety but life is full, yeah!!! I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Currently serving in the great Native American state of Oklahoma. It's the best ya'll, the Lord done blessed me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because honestly nothing can give you the same satisfaction as being a member of Christ's church. He blesses me with a sense of calmness, clarity, and understanding of who I am. The happiness I feel in His service cannot be compared to the things that the 'world' has to offer, because what he offers is eternal life with Him and His son Jesus Christ. I know that God is the Eternal Father, and His son lives! That the Prophet Joseph Smith was and is a man chosen by God to fulfill his rightous purposes, just as prophets of old. I know this is true, by the nature of the Holy Spirit of Him who is mighty to save.

How I live my faith

Everyday is a spiritual adventure. I try to read my scriptures daily, and be the man that not only my family expects of me. But also what the Lord expects of me. Going out and sharing the good word of God with those who have lost their faith, as well as those who already have a firm testimony of Him. To strengthen them. I always am reminded of Nike's sloggen "Just Do It" and apply that to the gopel.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Brandon
We believe that family is the most important part of life. Now that I am away from home I often remember the fun times I expereniced during my childhood and teenaged years with my family. Not the friends, movies, and parties though that was defititally a part of my life. But rather the love that was harvested within the walls of our home. Coming from a background of deaf parents. I had somewhat of a different childhood then some. I felt a little distint in some areas, and very close to my parents in other areas. Looking back I have relized countless times, that they were and defititally still are incredable parents. Always loving, kind, understanding, consistant, and had a excellent balence of being strict and relaxed. This I know to be the divine help of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The teachings of Christ being the glue that held us together in times of distress and hardship. From their example I strive to be like my Savior and Redeemer, the author of my faith.
