Hi I'm Matt

I'm an Eagle Scout and a Mormon.

About Me

Well, I'm going to school for Computer networking. I like to hangout with my friends and have a good time. I like to read, go bike riding, and go camping. I'm also an Eagle Scout.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up being Catholic, my mom is the only convert in our family and she introduced me to the church. Before I converted to the church I started to read the Book of Mormon and some of the things that I read really put me at ease about where I should be. One day my mom had the missionaries from her church come over for dinner and they started talking to me about the church and what the church represents. Before they left they had me read a chapter in the Book of Mormon. They came back and I started to have lessons with them until I was ready to be baptized.

How I live my faith

Well, I'm a recent convert to the church and from the first time I talked with the missionaries to this day I read from the Book of Mormon to enhance my understanding of how to avoid and embrace certain real life situations and I also pray for guidance and things that I am grateful for such as family, friends, health, and so on. I also attend church every Sunday for both personal and spiritual guidance. With personal time that I have I try to find ways that I can do to help other members of the church or other people that I run into.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

You can check out the Mormon.org website and chat with a missionary or request to meet with a missionary and they can tell you where you can meet for church service, or if you know somebody that is a member of the church they can point you in the right direction also. Show more Show less
