Hi I'm Ryan

I'm a native Californian, a devoted husband and father, and a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I were married in 2005 and we have two amazing children. We live in San Diego and love all the things this place has to offer. I work in HR analytics for a high-tech company in San Diego. I graduated from UNLV with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and from SDSU with a Master's degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. I enjoy playing basketball, playing video games, and watching Saturday Night Live.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I've found joy and peace in following the teachings of the Savior, as revealed to ancient and modern-day prophets. I haven't always been active in my faith, but I've found that when I do my best to emulate the Lord, I am a much happier, patient, and loving person. I've put my faith to the test and have found the results to be life-changing.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as a member of our congregation's bishopric (an assistant pastor). My main duty in this role is to work with other church leaders to help as many people in the congregation and community as possible. My favorite part of this assignment is working with and mentoring the teenagers in our congregation. They are bright, sharp and amazingly talented; occasionally they even laugh at my cheesy jokes.
