Hi I'm Lauren

I'm a mother, pianist, student, and a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student working on my doctorate in Keyboard Collaborative Arts. I am a mother to a beautiful daughter who is 18 months old. I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, working hard in school, and exercising when I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I have found that living the Gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me overcome personal struggles and weaknesses and allowed me to discover many wonderful things about myself that I never knew existed! I have found power within myself to maintain a state of peace and happiness despite all the challenges I have to face on a daily basis. Through the teachings of Jesus Christ and His prophets, I know I can have a personal relationship with my Heavenly Father, which has helped me through times of lonliness or feelings of helplessness.

How I live my faith

I attend church on a weekly basis and also attend religion courses at the local institute of religion. At church I am a teacher for the gospel doctrine class. I enjoy teaching people of all ages the things that I have found through living the Gospel. These things help me keep focus on what is most important in my life family and trying everyday to be a better disciple of Jesus Christ.

What is being a Mormon like?

Lauren
Being a member of the Mormon Chruch is a great experience. Along with all the blessings of having the teachings of the full Gospel of Jesus Christ, there is a great sense of family and companionship with fellow Saints. Having that network of friends with similar experiences and beliefs helps each person involved feel at home and comfortable to know that there is always someone there to support them.
