Hi I'm Deanna

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was a high school math teacher and tennis coach for 12 years. I loved teaching and coaching, and it was important for me to be a positive role-model in these students' lives. A year after I was married we welcomed a baby boy into our family. I put my job on hold, so I could be a full time mother. It's the been the most fulfilling and wonderful time of my life. I'm now expecting twin boys and couldn't be more excited! I've had such a great, adventure-filled life, but nothing is more rewarding than being able to have a family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was brought up by my parents in the Mormon faith; however, they were very open to me making my own choices and finding out what was true. My parents raised us all to be independent, and they knew that each of their 7 kids needed to find their own faith and belief system. During my life I've realized that when I'm following the teachings of Jesus Christ, I am the most happy. The Bible and Book of Mormon give me peace and guidance when read the stories and teachings. I feel the spirit and I know it's true.

How I live my faith

I go to church on Sundays and help organize a women's group activity once a month focused around service, home and family and drawing closer to Christ. I love getting to know the women better and learn so much from them. I enjoy making friends with my neighbors and other moms at the park too!
