Hi I'm Christy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read mystery novels, shop for great deals, and go to Chicago to watch the Chicago Cubs play! I also love to travel with my husband to other countries, spend time with my family and new little girl!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I felt the spirit speak to my heart when I took the discussions. It took me quite a while to get baptized because I did not want to join any church half-heartedly. I am grateful for the opportunity to accept the gospel while here on this earth and that Heavenly Father placed people along the way to help me get to the place where I am at now. I love going to church and love to serve because of the blessings I receive by following my Heavenly Father's plan for me while here. I also love that my family can be together forever. It is a wonderful promise that my Heavenly Father has provided to me!

How I live my faith

I serve the young women in my ward. I also accepted the calling to be a visiting teacher. It helps me grow closer to my ward family and make new friends. I enjoy serving and helping others when they call me and need my help. Visiting teaching also helps me grow closer to my Heavenly Father by serving others, even if it is just visiting with them a short time once a month.

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

Christy
There are no greater roles to participate in than those of a husband and wife. These roles help us know and bless us with the opportunities to serve one another and if possible, to have children. Both roles are so important to Heavenly Father's children and when working together compliment each other in so many ways. A husband and wife are able to help their children learn to serve, grow their faith, and learn the commandments of our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
