Hi I'm Rob

I'm from Idaho. I'm a cowboy. I rode bulls and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married and have three wonderful children two girls and a boy. I'm a cowboy and enjoy the outdoors. I'm an accountant and work for a international technology company. I grew up in the Church, but fell away as a teenager while I tried to "find myself". I spent a few years on the rodeo circuit riding bulls before meeting my wonderful wife who helped me find my testimony and realize that what I was searching for was what I had all along.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony of my Savior Jesus Christ. His teachings in the New Testament have touched me deeply. I also find those teachings and the feeling of peace while studying the Book of Mormon. I know that it is another testament of Jesus Christ and reflects his teaching of the people in the Americas. These are the people Jesus describes when he says "Other sheep I have which are not of this fold". I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the restored gospel, re-established by Jesus Christ in these latter days through a simple 14 year old boy named Joseph Smith. The peace I find through my membership in His church testifies that the Gospel is true and we are lead by a Prophet today under the leadership of the Lord.

How I live my faith

I am the Ward Mission Leader, which means that I coordinate the missionary efforts between our Ward and the Full Time Missionaries assigned to our Ward. I've previously been involved with the Youth as the Young Men's President and as a Scout Master over a Church sponsored troop of the Boy Scouts of America. The opportunities to serve in the Church help me to feel closer to my Savior as I strive to follow his example.
