Hi I'm Melody Heward

I grew up in Californa. I now live in Idaho on a Diary farm and I'm raising my family of 7. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a California native. I married a dairy farmer from Idaho. Where we now live. I'm a mother of 7 children. All raised doing chores on our dairy farm. And just recently a grandmother of 7 beautiful grandkids. I spend most of the time, as a stay-at-home mom. I'm learning how to juggle being a mom still with a few kids at home, and a grandma. Some of our grandkids live close enough we are able to see them often. Our energy is used working on the farm, traveling to married kids homes or playing basketball ( its our favorite pastime ) I love to visit WARM places, especially in the winter. Life has been good to us

Why I am a Mormon

First my parents were members. An obvious reason but as a grew up into the teenager stage and moved away from home I gained a testimony for myself. As I have raised my family and asking my Heavenly Father for help I have always relyed on Him for help in teaching them correct principles. Growing older I have gained a strong testimony of Joseph Smith testimony of the vision he had in the sacred grove. That has been dear to my heart. Being a mormon is a everyday thing. Having a latter-day prophet to help with the trials of the world is such a secure feeling. It is my foundation

How I live my faith

I live my faith by remembering where i came from. Everyday is there seems to be moment to remind me that there is someone watching over me and cares about me. Through trials turning to my Heavenly Father gives me strength. Prayer is big part of my life. With the responsibility of motherhood prayer has always been needed in my life. Living a attitude of gratitude helps my faith increase.
