Hi I'm Aubrey

I'm a stay-at-home mother of two and the wife of an Optometrist. I love to create, to cook, and to play!

About Me

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Piano Pedagogy. Performing on the piano but also accompanying is my passion. I am able to express myself and bear my testimony best through music. I love being a mom and love to watch my children learn. So I'm always on a quest to find fun, simple, uplifting things for them to do alone but also that we can do together. Our family loves the sunshine and therefore doing all things outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who are members of the church. It has been a great blessing to be raised in the gospel, and to have known my whole life of it's truths. But even though I have been a member since birth, I have still taken the time to find out for myself if it is the true church on the earth today. Through study and prayer I indeed know that it is, and am so grateful for that knowledge. There is nothing more beautiful than the knowledge that I will be with my family forever. It is beautiful to know about the atonement of our Savior and the redemption that's available through him. I'm a Mormon because I know it's the way to know the purpose of our earth life.

How I live my faith

My faith is a part of every single aspect of my life. How I view myself, my husband and I as a couple, my children. It is manifest in how I parent, in the activities I'm involved in, and the personal goals I set for myself. I love to serve in church in any way that I can. Usually it's in some kind of music calling, but actually right now I get to work with the wonderful 8-11 year old girls of our ward. We have activities twice a month that help the girls pass of goals and receive awards. I also am a visiting teacher and I get to visit 4 women in our ward every month along with my companion, who is another woman in the ward. It is a beautiful way that I am able to serve other ward members, specifically the women who may have similar interests and life trials as me. I can't imagine living life without having the faith that I have.
