Hi I'm Nick

I'm from Massachusetts and I'm going to college.

About Me

I'm from Massachusetts. I like classic rock n' roll music. I like basketball, volleyball, and baseball. I'm a college student and I am currently majoring in sociology. I enjoy reading history, movies and playing board games.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member of this church for basically my whole life. I've been taught by several good individuals who I have always looked up to because they are good people and when you see good examples one desires to emulate them. The things I have learned just naturally felt right and I never can recall a need to question them. However I wanted to know if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true for myself. I had been told by the Spirit and other individuals countless times but I wanted to be sure for myself. There were times when I prayed to know and it was followed by a casual "yes" feeling. However as I continued to search the scriptures and read The Book of Mormon I received a more clear answer that God loved me and that the things I believed to be true are true. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints is true, The Book of Mormon is true and Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know these things not by myself or because I read it but the Spirit of God has told me these things and I have chosen to accept them. I am ever so grateful for the mercy that God and countless others has given to me throughout my life. One of the greatest periods of my life was when I served as a full time missionary in California. The people I acquainted with in California are wonderful people and I have certainly become a better person because of them. As a full time missionary, your responsibility is to invite others to come unto Christ and help them receive the fullness of the gospel. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter saints doesn't claim to have a monopoly on righteousness by any means I know of, but we contain the fullness of means to come unto Christ. For some that is a bold statement. However I know that God loves all of us and knows each of us personally. I know that these things are true and that families can be together forever. These things mean everything to me.

How I live my faith

I strive to read the scriptures everyday. I try to be a friend to others whether it be helping a friend move in or lift someone up who's having a hard day. I strive to live the principles I've been taught and be honest with those I communicate with. I help my parents in any way I can and they in turn support me. I try to be my best self.
