Hi I'm Paul

I'm from Tacoma WA, I love to cook. I love culture, and I want to travel the world. I'm competitive a gamer, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

My name is Paul Michael Peterson. I'm currently 21 years old. I am the last of five children. Most of my family lives in Washington. I love Washington! The colors of the water and trees, and mountains are breath taking. Every where I go now though, I learn to love what the world has to offer there. I want to see it all some day. It's always been my dream to travel the world, and experince all the cultures there is to offer. As a child I used to beleive that I would be the next Indiana Jones, and go on dangerous adventures that would take me around the whole world. Then I found out what a archaeologist really did later.... Now I've set my sight on food. I want to be a cook. Which one of the reasons I want to travel the world. To be able to taste and experiance all the delicacy's every one in the world has made. Then use my experice to be able to cook anything to any ones desire. I love culture, and I belive that food is the best way to express that. I'm also a gamer. I love to play games online, or just the simple board game competivtly. I love meeting new people that could be better then me, so I can challenge my self to extend to a new level of skill. I'm very soaicalble this way. I always like getting togeather with friends to have gaming events, and hosting them. Over all, I like to think I am pretty normal. Some of my friends and, sibling may dissagree... They're probly right.... But that dosn't matter beacuse, I am the way I hope God see's me.

Why I am a Mormon

Well I was raised in the church. I was baptized like most children raised this way, at 8 years old. But I wouldn't necessarily say thats the reason I'm a Mormon. On my mission, many people would tell me that baptism at 8 years old is to young. But if a child was raised and taught to be a doctor. That dosn't meen thats what they choose to be when they are older. I was taught to beleive in Jesus Christ. I was taught to beleive in a restored church. I was taught to beleive in a modern day Prophet. All these things I was taught; I knew was good. I was never thaught anything negative about it. I was never forced to do anything I didn't want to do. My parents knew what was right, and what made them happy. They knew what could make me happy. They knew that baptism was a essential to happen, so I could live with them forever in heaven. They wanted be with me for all eternity. They showed me a way I could acheive this on my own. So when the time came. When I would be held accountable for my actions. I could make the choice to continue to live the way I was taught be. The way I was living already made me happy. So i got baptized. Knowing what I did was right. "Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6) Now today I continue to live what I was taught. My parants are no longer there to guide me to make the right choices. I now make the choices with no one elses influence but my own. Although they will always be there to influnence me to make correct choices. The end result will be up to me. I've been taught truth, that will carry with me through my whole life. Even till after death. These truths bring me to know what my path is. I know where I going. I know how to get there. The path I'm on makes me happy. I've only been unhappy when I deviate from that path. So I will continue to live the path of Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon beacause... God said it was right... and I beleive him.

How I live my faith

My faith is what helps me beleive that I am worth somthing in the world. It is what helps me get up in the morning, and do more. There is a lot of good in the world. It is my goal, to seek those things out. I live my faith by spreading the good that I found to the world. I beleive that a positive will always result in a positive. So vise versa, a negitve will equal... negaitve. Things of a negaitve nature is designed to tear down the goodness, and hope that is in the world. It is my goal to fill it with the positives. Things of a positive nature will make the world a better place. Every one will simply just be... happier. The one person in the world that I know has the capibility of giving us the most happiness is God. Since he is the source of all happiness after all... Any thing that is good, or joyfull, derives from him. He's asked us to follow in the foot steps of his Son, Jesus Christ. By doing so, we can come closer to him. So, by abiding by the precepts of Jesus Christ, we can feel the most happiness that God has to offer, which is infinite! The path of Jesus Christ is not a easy one. But neither was the savior's life easy. some may confuse the difficulty of such a task, as a negitive aspect. But this is False. The savior taught, that dissobidence, never was happiness. We simply can not find the Fullness of Joy, and Happiness, that only God can bring, by our own efforts. It is only through the merrits of Jesus Christ, we can feel his gift of Joy. "So God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son." (John 3:16) I inttend to live my faith, by spreading the most Joy to the World as I can. I can do this the best, by following the footsteps of the Savior, Jesus Christ. So I will Spread His message, and example to the world. I know no other better way. So through him I feel I'm worth somthing. Through him... I stay positive... and thats my faith.
