Hi I'm Richard Stonehouse

I was converted in 1974.I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Manitoba, moved to Alberta when I was 13. In 1962 I left home to join the Navy, spent ten years in Halifax before leaving the navy in 1972. In 1974, I worked in northern Alberta where I was baptised and received the Arronic Priesthood.recieved the Melchezdic Priesthood in central Albeta. After close to 30 years of being inactive, and talking to the missionaries, I became active again.

Why I am a Mormon

Over the years with some doubt, I will admit, but with prayer, I soon came to realize that the LDS church was the one church that could give me what I was looking for. I have found that my life changed significantly after becoming a member of my Heavenly Fathers church. I continue to leaarn about my Heavenly Father through the gospel and by being a Ward Missionary. I feel it is my duty to spread the word of our Heavenly Father and I endeavor to do so whenever I have the chance. I know that my Heavenly Father lives as does his son Jesus Christ. I know that the Holy Ghost has touched my soul because of the feeling I get when I do my part in spreading the gospel. I bear testimony of these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith through Home Teaching, visits with the Missionaries to investigators homes and sharing my Testimony with them.
