Hi I'm Tyler

I grew up in Utah. I love the outdoors. I enjoy balance in life. I love my family, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Currently I am serving a full time mission for my church, in the Michigan Lansing Mission. I have loved sharing the Gospel with my friends, the Michiganders. Before my mission, I was involved in a variety of sports- football, soccer, lacrosse, and my real passions are snowboarding & wakeboarding. I really enjoy the outdoors, and the solitude that is offered in the mountains that surround my home. Due to my parents dedication to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I have enjoyed a harmony in my home, a feeling of peace and love. I have grown to recognize that as a family home that has been dedicated to following, and serving our Lord and Savior. This is why I have chosen to serve a mission, so that others might also enjoy that harmony in their home, to have a safe haven from the world. What a blessing!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my parents examples to me. I was raised in the church, which was a blessing, and I am who I am because of the principles taught & practiced in the church, and the Home. I have come to know for myself that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. This implies my testimony of the Restoration of the Gospel, that Joseph Smith is a Prophet, and that the Priesthood keys have been restored to the earth. With this understanding, I have come to understand the purpose of my life, I am a son of God, who loves me, and wants me to succeed. He has provided this organization, as a means to salvation, or eternal life with my family. I have lost loved ones, who I want to see and live with someday! The Gospel restored means that I can have that opportunity, if I choose to follow the example of Jesus Christ, and accept the fullness of his Gospel. This drives me to live the principles that have been taught to me from a very young age. This why I am a Mormon!

How I live my faith

As I stated before, I am a full time missionary. I serve in the communities I am assigned to labor in, through service, teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and strengthening the local members in their callings in the church. As I go about my business, I look for individuals who are need of a helping hand, I like to offer service whenever I am able. Sometimes individuals I meet are in need of more help than I can offer, so I teach them what I know about Jesus Christ, and I invite them to learn more about he can help us overcome all things!
