Hi I'm Princess Etuale

I'm a SoCal native with Samoan roots. Chocolate chips cookies are my weakness. And...I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Southern California where most of my family lives, while the rest of them reside back home in Samoa. I have two younger sisters; well, four if you include our two Siberian Huskies. Haha. I love them so much! I have just graduated with a degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Management and Human Resources. However, I hope to further my education in School Counseling in order to pursue a career in Guidance Counseling within a high school setting. I love spending my time with family, going to the movies, playing volleyball, laughing and of course, eating. I was born into the church and continue to grow in my love for the Gospel, the faith I have in its truthfulness, and the Divinity of its message. I have been so blessed to have been called to serve as a missionary of our Savior and will serve in the Philippines Laoag Mission! I know that our Savior lives and look forward to sharing this glad message to those whom readily await its arrival and to those whom do not recognize it as something they desired and needed until it arrived at their feet. I love the Savior. I love the Gospel. I love this work!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ bring me great joy. I was blessed to have been born in the church, but like everyone else - I had to come to learn of its truthfulness on my own. The desire to gain my own testimony came about in my final year of high school. We were challenged by a Prophet of God to read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover and to come to know of its truthfulness on our own. After much study and prayer, Heavenly Father patiently taught me through the Spirit of the Holy Ghost that the Book of Mormon is true. I cannot doubt nor deny its divinity. As I continue to study and follow it's teachings, I feel closer to God. I wouldn't know who I would be without the Gospel in my life. I will always be grateful for the joy, love, and clarity it continues to bring into my life and the lives of those whom I hold close.

How I live my faith

Living my faith consists of serving others both in my everyday life and in my church callings, attending church every Sunday with my family, reading my scriptures daily, and committing to live a standard of life that is pleasing to our Heavenly Father. This includes refraining from partaking of alcohol, tobacco, coffee, and tea, living a chaste life, and treating others with kindness and respect. I do all I can to listen and adhere to the counsels offered by our leaders and beloved Prophet, Thomas S. Monson. Like all members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I must continually make the conscious decision to follow our Savior, Jesus Christ and remember that I carry His name. This has helped me in times of temptation and hardship. As I remember who I am as a daughter of God and that He has a plan for me, my faith is strengthened and the path ahead becomes clear.
