Hi I'm Levi

I love to smile! I love my family, friends, and sports! And I am a Mormon! :)

About Me

I am a husband, father, brother, student, athlete, and a child of God. I am 25 years old and my wonderful wife is Cami Wise. We have a two year old daughter whose name is Ivory. My family is everything to me. I love sports, they have been a huge part of my whole life. Right now, I am a student at Washington State University. I am studying math with a focus in secondary education. I have one year remaining with my undergraduate degree. I plan on attending Western Governors University for a masters in secondary math education. My end career goal is to teach high school math and coach cross country and track. Sports was everything to me as I grew up. I lived and breathed competition. I kept my grades up in school only so I would be eligible to compete. I wasn't sure if I wanted to serve a mission. I was selfish and only had my goals in mind. My older brother told me about experiences he had on his mission and how much he was able to help others. All of the sudden, I felt a massive desire to serve a mission and help others. So I went on a mission to Jacksonville, FL. I had amazing experiences that helped me grow as a man and I was able to help others in the process. I returned home and met my wife. I started school. Then came my daugher and it completely changed my life. My life went from being about my wife and I to completely being about my daughter Ivory. It has changed me! I do my best everyday to be like my Savior! I fall short, but He lifts me daily!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of this church. However, my Parents always taught me to that I need to know the truth for myself. They told me I need to ask Heavenly Father if the things I have been taught are true. God knows all things and we will answer our prayers. I have asked Heavenly Father if the things I have been taught are true many times! Every single time I get the same answer. I feel a overwhelming feeling of happiness and love. Every time I read the Book of Mormon and the Bible I learn more about Christ. I typically get answers to my prayers through the scriptures. The Bible testifies that Jesus Christ is our Savior. So does the Book of Mormon, so is it not true? I testify that Jesus Christ is our Savior as well. I have felt Him lift countless burdens and guilt's off my shoulders. He free's me from my pain. He has always called Prophets to reveal His gospel. I prayed to know whether Joseph Smith was a Prophet. I got an answer that he is! I also asked if Thomas Monson is the current Prophet on the earth. I also got an answer that he is. Jesus Christ speaks through Thomas Monson to lead Jesus Christ's church just as it was when He was on the earth. I am a Mormon because I know these things are true! I know that God is our Father. I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of the world. I also know the Holy Ghost is the 3rd member of the Godhead and teach's us truth. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I just simply try to follow Jesus Christ's example. I try to help people whenever I can, even if it is an inconvenience. I try to speak positively of everyone. I try to keep all the commandments Heavenly Father has given us. I try to comfort people when they are struggling. These are the things Christ taught me to do. When I fall short of Christ's expectations, which happens daily. I repent and commit to do better. Christ relieves the burdens, and He strengthens me!I try to study the scriptures daily and apply them to my life. I also pray often so I can receive answers to my questions and guidance on decisions I have to make. I try my best to follow my Savior.

What is the priesthood?

The priesthood is the authority to act in God's name! The authority to run His church and the authority to perform ordinances such as Baptism! It is the same authority Jesus Christ gave the apostles by the laying on of hands as it says in Matthew! Show more Show less
