Hi I'm Jordan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a happy person. I believe that everyone has a lot to be thankful for. I love kids. I love helping other people. It makes me incredibly happy to know that I made a difference. I love my family. I am engaged to be married in 4 months and I adore my fiance. I like to learn new things and make connections. I love cooking and eating meals with those I love. I believe that everything happens for a reason. I am an Elementary Education major and I love little kids. One day, I want a lovely little house with a big porch. I love sunsets and the stars. Although life is crazy and hard sometimes, I love it. Enjoy the Journey!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of the church. It wasn't just a belief growing up, it was a lifestyle. It is what we did and who we were. As I have gotten older, I have found that the reason I am a Mormon is not just because of the way I was raised. I am a Mormon because living the gospel makes me happy. It brings me peace. I feel love, joy, comfort and strength from following the teachings of the church. I am a Mormon because I love my Savior. I want my family to be together forever. I love receiving personal revelation about what I should do with my life. I love having standards to follow and knowing right from wrong. I love knowing that even if I do make a mistake, I can repent and do better. I can live with my Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith day by day. I pray to a loving and understanding Heavenly Father. I read from the scriptures and apply them to my life seeking for ways that I can be better. I serve those around me and I pray for opportunities to do so. I go to church every Sunday and I spend time with my family when I can. I try to have charity towards all men. I choose not to be offended by things that people say. I count my blessings and I recognize where they come from. I know that I am far from perfect, but I know that I will be blessed for living the teachings of the gospel the best I can.
