Hi I'm Trina

I'm a mom and an educator. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music. I enjoy listening to it, playing it, and teaching it. Each of my own children began playing the violin, viola or cello when they were 5 years old. Every day I share the joy of music with my middle school orchestra students. I also teach computer classes. I'm a 21st Century Educator. For fun and relaxation I hike, ski, read books, garden and ride my bike.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints bring me peace and joy. They bring me closer to Jesus Christ. I have purpose in my life. I know why I'm here and where I'm going.

How I live my faith

In our home, we pray and read the scriptures together as a family daily. Our family attends church every Sunday where I lead the choir. The choir members, the organist and I all perform music because of our love for Heavenly Father. None of us are paid for our participation in music at church. In addition to helping with music, I am planning and preparing food to serve to 220 teenage girls at our church summer Girls Camp.
