Hi I'm Joe

I spend my days in a suit, and my evenings covered in grease.

About Me

I enjoy working on cars and doing pretty much anything that produces adrenaline. I work as a financial consultant in my home town.

Why I am a Mormon

My family was only partly active in the Church when I was growing up, but my mom always took us to church. My faith grew from seeing her go to such an effort each week to make sure we went. As I grew older, I had incredible friends who helped strenthen my faith in Jesus Christ. When I was 19, many of my friends made the decision to serve full-time missions for the church. I felt that, as I didn't have other things planned for my life at the time, that a mission might be good for me. I was asked to go to Denver, and my life was forever changed because of that decision. While serving those two years, I saw the real difference that having Christ in our lives can make. I saw people who were miserable be completely changed by the teachings of God. When I came home, I was firm in the knowledge that this is the true church, and I have based all of my decisions since then on the teachings of the gospel. All of the best things I have in my life, I have because I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I currently volunteer my time with the young men of our congregation, but I have served in many ways over the years. I spent two years on a proselyting mission to the people of Denver, Colorado, and the surrounding areas.
