Hi I'm Joshua

I'm a Mormon. I'm a freshman in college, and I love being Mormon! It's just a better way to live. :-)

About Me

You want to know about me? Well, I'll tell you! I am a Mormon to start things off. Both of my parents are LDS and I was raised being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Being Mormon is what defines me mostly. It's what gives me purpose and a reason to keep trying. Some of my favorite activities are working out, reading, drama, and singing. I love to sing. It's one of my passions that has been part of my life for a very long time. When I was in elementary, I didn't want to be a astronaut or a police officer. What I wanted to be was a opera singer. Funny, I know. I have no desires of being a opera singer now, I get that fix in the shower. I love Jesus Christ. He is my Savior and Redeemer. I know he suffered in the garden and on the cross for me. I know that I will see Him again and honestly, I can't wait. I can hardly believe that the Son of God would die for me, but I am eternally grateful and I try to live my faith in such a way that I can try to pay Him back though I know I can't even come close.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but I know it's true. Not because my parents told me so but because I found out for myself. I found that as I live the gospel I allowed God to work on me. I'm a Mormon because it's just a better and happier way to live. It's nice to know that I have a purpose, and that there are millions of people that feel the same way I do. :-)

How I live my faith

I know that Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price so that I can return to live with my Father in heaven someday. Knowing that has truly given me the incentive to be the best I can be.

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

Joshua
Many people say that our church has grown because of our humanitarian service or because of our missionary work. Everything the church does is nice, but only one thing accounts for the growth of the church. That it is true. God watches over His church. Show more Show less
