Hi I'm Ron

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 60 years old. I have a wife of 35 years and 6 children. I have served a 2 year mission to Kentucky and Tennesee. I spent 2 years in the Marines at Camp Pendleton in California. I have recently had my 20 year evaluation with Walmart.I love camping and fishing with my family and have kept a daily journal for over 30 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I cherish the knowledge our church teaches of what our purpose is during our earthly life. Coupled with an understanding of what happens after this life, a clear plan of salvation. I also appreciate the truth that marriage and family do not end at death. I disagree with a paid ministy as seen in other sects. In the Mormon church men have the authority to bless their own family and others which is of great value to me. Our church has a living prophet who receives revelation on how to live and deal with contemporary world events.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as the ward mission leader. This gives me the opportunity to tell people about our religion on a regular basis. During Christ's ministy He frequently asked his followers to teach his gospel. These became his final words before going through the atonement for all mankind.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No. Our welfare program which helps both members and nonmembers has proven to be more effective than that of our national goverments. We teach self reliance and survival to meet situations that occur in life. Show more Show less
