Hi I'm Kevin

I like camping and fishing. I want to be a good father and husband. I am like most other guys and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in the Midwest and enjoy camping and fishing in the outdoors. My love for the outdoors started as a young man in the Boy Scouts of America. I continue to serve as a youth leader in our local troop. I am a father of four wonderful daughters. Sometimes people say they are sorry to hear that I have all girls. To the contrary, I am truly blessed. My girls and my wife are the most important and special things in my life. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

As a young man, I attended church because my parents did. I enjoyed the social activities and being around my friends. As I grew older, I knew I would never be able to sustain living the gospel without a sure knowledge for myself. I searched and prayed for the personal confirmation from God that this was his true church here on the earth. I received an undeniable confirmation that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth.

How I live my faith

I live and work around people who are not Mormons and while they respect me for my beliefs, I am faced with challenges each and every day. Working and traveling requires a constant vigil against the temptations of the world. I made the decision a long time ago to live the gospel of Jesus Christ and that decision is what carries me through the day. The greatest blessing in my life is the knowledge that inspiration is given to each of us for our families, our careers and our personal spiritual development. I love working with the youth of the church, especially the young men. They are the next generation of leaders and it is important to help them gain a strong testimony. As a father of all girls, I often tell people I am trying to raise up the righteous young men who will eventually marry my daughters.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

The most basic truths in live have to be discovered by each one of us. The Book of Mormon hold a unique promise that God will reveal his truth to each of us if we will only ask. As a father, I would give anything to my girls. How then would God not give us the righteous desires of our hearts. If you still question whether it is worth even asking, look at the "fruits" or the outcomes of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A good tree will not yield bad fruit.
