Hi I'm Shelly

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of two girls and have been married for 18 years. I love to keep in shape by running or my favorite is to play raquetball. I did not do much of any college but I learned how to train my favorite animals dogs right after we were married. My oldest daughter is a teen and the other is 4 years younger. So they keep me busy. I did not gain a strong testamony of the gospel until after my divorce. I would strongly suggest to attempt to gain a testamony earlier in life so that it might help you stay out of trouble.

Why I am a Mormon

Well I was born into a LDS family. So I was always a Mormon, but I was inactivty for a period of time. So I can say I have tried both sides of the fence. The reason I am still a Mormon is because I found that I was really happy on this side of the fence.

How I live my faith

I am now helping with the women in the church in setting up activities that help us to get to know others in the church and neighborhood.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Shelly
I did not know it was true for a long time, because I never put forth the effert to get an answer to my prayers. I prayed of course. I didn't read the Book of Mormon until I was 21 years old. I did not realize the amazing stories and help that it would provide to me until I read it a few times. My very first big experiance with the spirit was in a testamony meeting. I felt so strongly to bare my testamony but the meeting was going to end soon and there was a big line. Then the bishop got up and said we needed to contune the meeting in a different room I was amazed. I was so scrared but I got up and did it anyway. That was right before I was getting married to my wonderful husband that I have now.  Show more Show less
