Hi I'm Jadi

I love being a Mormon!

About Me

I am a college student studying graphic design with a minor in marriage and family relations and will graduate this summer. I married my best friend for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple in July 2009. We don't have children yet, but we are very excited to start our family in the not-too-distant future. I love playing the piano, painting, running exercising, and cake decorating. My newest hobby is family history. I LOVE it!

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents are members of the Church, and I have been Mormon all my life. I remember growing up it always just felt right to go to church every Sunday. When I turned twelve, I felt like I needed to decide if I truly knew the gospel of Jesus Christ was true. I can't pinpoint an exact time, but the peace and happiness I have always had, and the burning feeling that what I was doing was right helped confirm my faith. Reading the Book of Mormon and learning more about Jesus Christ makes me feel closer to my Heavenly Father. I know He is there for us and knows each one of us personally. I know Jesus Christ lives, and is our Savior who sacrificed His life for us to return to our Heavenly Father some day.

How I live my faith

Ways I live my faith include visiting teaching. Another woman and I go visit two women in our ward and teach a short lesson our thought, and see how they are doing. I love visiting teaching because we get to know those around us, and it gives us opportunities to serve. I also play the hymns on the organ for sacrament meeting every Sunday. Something I have been trying to do lately is see those around me who I could serve. If a thought comes to mind that I should do something for someone, or even just smile at the next person I walk by, I do it. I have found great joy in this.
