Hi I'm Ronnie

I'm a proud grandfather and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Member in the Bessemer Alabama Stake living in the McCalla area. Have been a member of the church since I was nine years of age. Alabama football fan, President of the Bessemer Area Chamber of Commerce, and love my six grandkids.

Why I am a Mormon

Because it is the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ upon the earth. When I was 15 years of age I read the Book of Mormon for the first time and prayed for an answer as to its truthfulness. I received my answer and because of that I know that the testimony my parents had is true, that Christ lives and he loves me.

How I live my faith

I strive to live the best I can but am not perfect. I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and he is my Savior. Serve as Public Affairs Director for the Bham Area Coordinating Council in the Church and work with the Missionaries assigned to our congregation.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Ronnie
I have always been drawn to the scriptures for guidance and assurance in my life. The Bible, Book of Mormon, and other scriptures provide not only the word of God but the word of God pertaining to me, a son of God. We are each sons and daughters of a Heavenly Father who loves us, who sent his only begotten Son to redeem us, and wants us to return to His presence. Through reading, studying and praying about the scriptures I can apply their guidance in my life and make better decisions. I have always been taught: If you want to know something is true, study, ponder, and pray about it, then listen for that still small voice in your heart. I know that the scriptures can help each of us to live happier and more productive lives. Show more Show less
