Hi I'm Annie Prevost

I'm a young, sassy cat lady. I love Detroit. I'm about to be a mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

First, I am a wife and mother to my fur-babies Hercules and Beast and soon to be a mother to a real baby! I've been sealed for all time and eternity to my best friend. I work full-time in the Medical field in Detroit and go to school part-time at night for business administration. I love my Jazzercise class, walking outside, and cruising in my convertible when it's warm. I even take my cats for walks in their stroller! I play tennis and scrapbook when I have time. I also am the Young Women's secretary and advisor. I absolutely enjoy preparing and teaching my lessons almost every Sunday. I love my family with all my heart!!! I love my life being a young, sassy, Mormon cat lady!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon household. I couldn't ask for a better upbringing even though I am the youngest of 5!! I unfortunately depended on others' testimonies growing up, even though I loved being in the church. I fell away for a couple years when I was a young adult. I was confused and lost. During this time, NO ONE gave up on me! My family, church members, visiting/home teachers always let me know they loved me. I met my husband and the day after we were engaged he mentioned wanting to meet with the missionaries! We took all the lessons together with some amazing missionaries and waited a year to be sealed and married in the Temple! I love being Mormon. I love all the love!!! I not only am constantly feeling my Savior's love, but the church members are amazing to me. Everyone excepts me for who I am. I really appreciate the plan of salvation. It has comforted me in times of loss and uplifts me to know that I will be with my Heavenly Father and loved ones again. Being Mormon has made my life easier and complete!

How I live my faith

Like I said, I am the Young Women's secretary and adviser. Teenagers used to really scare me! Luckily, these girls that I teach are such beautiful young ladies. I am so blessed to be able to teach and advise them. They make me laugh and have taught me how to be cool again! I love visit teaching other women. I really enjoy sharing my love and serving others. My favorite visit teaching experience when I was able to babysit little twin girls while their parents were able to have a much-needed night out. I love children!

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Annie Prevost
The best way is to pray and ponder while you study the religion. One thing you CAN NOT do is research online on random websites. So many of these are false and are anti-Mormon. You have to find out for yourself. When you feel the warm, fuzzy feeling in your chest The Holy Ghost you will know it's true. Show more Show less
