Hi I'm Mike.

I am a husband, father and a Certified Public Accountant. I've been a Mormon my whole life except for the first 17 years.

About Me

Well, if you are reading this, you must want to know some things about me. First, I am a husband to a wonderful wife. I am a dad to two sweet children, a girl and a boy. They are the center of my life. I am also a numbers guy. I love working with numbers. Professionally, I am a Certified Public Accountant. I enjoy investing, reading and watching sports. I also enjoy watching a good movie.

Why I am a Mormon

As I mentioned, I decided to make the church a part of my life when I was 17 years old. I had always been a happy person. I was very optimistic. When I had the opportunity to hear a message about God, initially, I would have probably turned it down because I wouldn’t have wanted to have commitments that could take away my personal time. When the missionaries invited me to listen to the discussions, despite my reluctance to do so, I accepted. This was the beginning of a journey that has led me to feel of His love for me. The Spirit, the warm feeling I got when learning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, has touched my life and has made me a better person. Because of these special feelings I felt, I decided to become a Mormon at the age of 17.

How I live my faith

Joining the LDS church when I did provided me with an opportunity to go on my own mission and share the same message that I received. I was blessed with the opportunity to serve the people of the Philippines. This was one of the most amazing ways to live my faith that I have had in my life. I have had many other opportunities as well. Currently, I help people in the local church unit where I live to prepare themselves for and find employment. On a daily basis, I simply study the gospel of Jesus Christ by reading the scriptures, saying prayers morning and night and just trying to be the best person I can be. This is simply the way I live my faith.
