Hi I'm Brandon

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like college football, basketball, and racquetball. I play guitar and enjoy many genres of music. My wife and I are in Michigan for my graduate school training in industrial-organizational psychology.

Why I am a Mormon

First and foremost, I am a better person with the gospel than I ever would be if I without it. This church expects high standards of living and expects its members to practice what we preach. Because of this, I feel that I am in a better position to be Christ-like here than in any organization, group, or institution. I have prayed to know that the Book of Mormon is true and repeatedly have found myself feeling that it is true. I also feel that I have learned life's most difficult lessons through the gospel. It teaches me things that are unique to any other experience life can give us. It does so because being Christ-like is unique to any other experience life can give us and that is exactly what I feel the Church offers me!

How I live my faith

I visit several families every month and make sure that the church helps them when needed. This includes a monthly lesson. I also teach a men's service organiation, called the Elder's Quorum, how to serve as Christ did when he was on the Earth. The daily spiritual activities of scripture reading and prayer are a constant in my life as well. This guides my service to others as I understand more and more what Christ was like.
