Hi I'm Ken

I'm a husband, father, engineer, beekeeper, and nerd. I love the outdoors, computer games, food, and movies, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a rather boring individual (it comes with being an engineer). I'm a husband to an incredible woman and father of four (so far?) crazy kids who frequently try my patience. I'm a power engineer and I think power lines are beautiful. I love living in a small town in Washington's Palouse region. It is beautiful, quiet, safe, and clean. I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, reading, playing computer games, and watching movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in and LDS family, but like many of the other profiles here, I eventually had to choose a path for my life. When the time came in which I needed to know if the Mormon church was true the spirit confirmed to me that it is, and I've been active in the church my whole life. While being mormon is certainly not always easy, and quite often difficult, it is defeinitely worth it. I often think to myself that even if the church were not true, I'd probably be Mormon anyway. It is just a good, healthy, loving way to live in this big, big world.

How I live my faith

When I think about how I live my faith, one main word comes to mind. Quietly. Most of my friends know I am LDS, but it isn't something I go on about all the time. I try to focus on being a Christian, as I have that in common with most people in my area. I try to live Christ's teachings in my marriage, family, and everyday life. I love using my talents mostly really nerdy ones or my sweat to serve others. I learned very young the joy that comes from helping others, and I still enjoy it.
