Hi I'm Megan

I'm a dance teacher, vegan eater, and a yoga enthusiast. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My daily goal is to cherish the beautiful moments in my life. Some of the best moments include enthusiastic hugs from my toddler and slobbery kisses from my baby. Quietly reading story books, or walking hand in hand at the lake's shore. Snuggling together for an afternoon nap. I love the earth and what our Father in Heaven has created for us. I love doing things outdoors with my family. We love the good, pure food of this earth. We do our best to seek out and prepare healthy food for our growing children. My husband and I both love fitness and exercise. He especially loves barefoot running and triathlons while my heart will always remain with dance. Our favorite thing to do together is yoga. I had the wonderful opportunity of earning my Bachelor's degree in modern dance and can't wait to go back to school later in life.

Why I am a Mormon

With everything in my life I follow my heart. I am a member of this church because the truthfulness of the doctrine speaks to my heart, to my core. This gospel teaches about a loving Father in Heaven, who teaches and blesses His children. It teaches about a Savior, Jesus Christ, who has experienced all things, and who is always ready to receive us with his arms outstretched. It teaches about family relationships that can be bonded together for eternity. It provides a pathway from chaos to clarity, sorrow to happiness, turmoil to peace. I am a Mormon because the LDS doctrine fulfills everything my soul yearns for-Love, joy, hope, and family.

How I live my faith

We worship Jesus Christ. I try to live my faith everyday by becoming more like the Savior. In the New Testament he served others without thinking of his own wants. Being a young mom, I give all my time to my family. I have learned how to cook so that I can meet their physical needs and bring our family together at the close of each day for quality family time at the dinner table. I take my kids out on creative, exploratory, educational adventures to capture fun memories and feed inquisitive minds. I support my husband emotionally as he goes to school, readily offering a listening ear when times get stressful, and staying positive during hard times so our home can be a peaceful haven. Personally, I try to study the scriptures and the words of the prophets a few minutes each day so that I can learn a little more each day, become a little better each week in my quest of developing the qualities the Savior has shown us, such as faith, charity, and service.
