Hi I'm Zach

I'm a left-handed lawyer and Photoshop guru. I read science fiction/fantasy and play first base. And yes, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Although being a lawyer pays the bills, I love to read, write, create on Photoshop, and play softball. I am a personal injury defense attorney and love my job, as odd as that sounds. I am an avid reader and particularly love science fiction and fantasy novels. I write a regular newsletter that goes out to family and friends that at least two people have complimented me on. I am regularly involved in Photoshop projects, including websites, wedding invitations, family keepsakes, calendars, and the like. Most Tuesday nights I play softball in a city league where I play outfield, first base, and maintain above a .500 on-base average (yeah, we count walks).

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I've found that true freedom and happiness is derived from obedience to God's commandments. The more we strive to become like our Father in Heaven, the happier we are. It may not be easy, but it has always been simple.

How I live my faith

I try to be as involved as I can at church. I am part of an organization within the church whose focus is to help other people learn more about our church and find happiness by forming or strengthening a relationship with our savior. This gives me a lot of opportunities to meet new people and learn new perspectives. I also frequently have the opportunity to teach, which is one of my favorite things about being Mormon.
