Hi I'm Lance.

American. Texan. Mormon.

About Me

I am a faithful husband and father of six wondeful children. I have been in the business world since graduating from college in 1997. The thing I like to do most is spend time with my family. Sometimes we play sports and games, and sometimes we just hang out, eat, and watch fun movies. I am also a student pilot, slowly but surely working my way towards a private pilot certificate. I love all things aviation-related. And all members of the family are die-hard Dallas Cowboys fans.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was eight years old, my family was Lutheran. One early Sunday morning, my mother was awakened by a very strong feeling that she should take her kids to the Mormon church that day. We learned more from the missionaries and from Mormon friends, and my mother chose to be baptized. However, I did not feel the same desire, and my mother allowed me to choose for myself. After a short while, I came to understand, even at the young age of eight years old, that there was TRUTH in what I was learning. I may not have understood everything from an intellectual perspective and still don't, but the truth is still the truth, whether or not I understand it. Now that I am older, I see how the Gospel of Jesus Christ can be found in many faiths, religions, churches, etc. It brings happiness and peace to many people all over the world. I am a Mormon because I believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a way that is much fuller, richer, and more accurate than any other church of which I know.

How I live my faith

I try to live my life in a way that is pleasing to my Father in Heaven, and to my family on earth. I strive to be a man of honor. To fulfill my responsibility to serve my fellow man, I am heavily involved with the youth group of my church. I work to develop the young men of our church into men of honor.
