Hi I'm Zayne

I'm a wife, a mother, and we have a blended family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband, Curtis, and I were married 27 years ago, and we have eight children between us, one is deceased. They have all grown up and have homes of their own. We live many hours from them, so telephone calls and personal visits are a joyful time. I love being a companion to my dear husband, gardening, health and nutrition, reading wholesome books, sewing, and being a homemaker. I find great joy in the principles taught in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a Mormon all my life, but experienced some years where I chose not to have the Church in my life. I realized at that time, and continue to know now, that peace and lasting joy come only through Jesus Christ and living His teachings as taught in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

By being committed to prayer, daily scripture study, participating in church meetings, functions, and activities, and through service to my family, my church family, and others.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Zayne
All Christians are commanded by God to pay tithes and offerings, as recorded in the book of Malachi in the Old Testament, to prove the Lord, that He will open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. As Mormons, my husband and I continue to "prove" the Lord, and realize many blessings-- physical, spiritual, emotional-- that He's given us because we've been obedient to this commandment.    Show more Show less
