Hi I'm Sarahlee

Raised in the midwest of United States with few members. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born to an LDS family and raised in the gospel. I married a non member and we had 2 daughters. That was challenging, because we didn’t have the same goals in life. Our marriage ended after 16 years. I did remarry a wonderful man with 2 young children. Being a step mom has been challenging at times, but a blessings as well. I have 4 children now and love them all very much.

Why I am a Mormon

My siblings and I were the only members of the church in our high school. I still needed to know for myself if the gospel was true. I had to study and pray for my own answers. When I was in college, I had many answers to my prayers. I knew that I have a Heavenly Father that knows me and loves me. I knew that Jesus Christ atoned for my sins and wants each of us to return to him once again. I knew that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God. He was called to restore the gospel in these latter days. He endured many trials and prosecutions and still remained faithful to the end. I am glad that families can be sealed together for the eternities. I love my family so much , that I can not imagine not having them for the eternities. I love the peace that the gospel brings in my life. Even during struggling times I know that the Lord is aware of me and the things that I am going through. He answers my prayers daily. The gospel gives me direction in staying true to the person that I want to be. I believe that integrity is everything. My definition of integrity is always doing the right thing, even when no one else is watching.

How I live my faith

I am proud to be a member of the Lord’s church. I will take the Ensign church magazine with me to work to read on down time. It has opened my doors of conversation with me co-workers. I will talk freely of the things that I do in church and in service and loving the saints. I have served in many callings in the church. I have taught many classes with children, youth and adults of all ages. I have never felt as though I was qualified for any of these callings, but the Lord has qualified me to do his work. When we love those we serve, we can accomplish all. I want my life to be one that the Lord can be proud of me.
