Hi I'm Terry

I live in Colorado. I love my wife and three children. I enjoy the great books and the great outdoors and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a farm in Idaho. I married my wife in the Jordan River Temple in Utah in 1992. I earned a bachelors degree in political science and a masters degree in business. I have lived in Idaho, Utah, New York, California, Illinois, and now I live and work in Colorado in software development. I have three children. I like to read and consider myself a student of literature, philosophy, history, politics, and society. I like music, including jazz, classical, broadway, folk, country, and rock. I like camping, hiking, bird watching, and scouting.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because when I read the Book of Mormon I have greater faith in Jesus Christ and I feel the Holy Spirit changing my heart for good. I am a better man, a more Christian man, on days when I read and study the Book of Mormon. My faith is helping me become the man I want to be.

How I live my faith

I do my best to follow the example of Jesus Christ. One way that I do this is by home teaching. My son and I are assigned to home teach a few families in our church. We visit them in their homes at least once a month and share a gospel message and pray with them. We also watch over them and serve them whenever we can. I have been able to help families grieving for the death of a grandparent, struggling with unemployment, or who just need some help moving furniture or shoveling snow. Being able to serve these families has been a joy to me.

Are Mormons Christians?

Mormons are Christians. We accept Jesus Christ as our savior. We believe He died for our sins and was resurrected and that He lives. We believe that He is the Son of God. We believe that it is through His grace that we can be redeemed. We do our best to follow His teachings because we love Him. Show more Show less
