Hi I'm Dustin

I grew up in Idaho. I'm a BYU Cougar, a Florida Gator, and an avid golfer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hobbies - my wife, golf, working out Family - Newlywed, no children

Why I am a Mormon

God has helped me to have a conviction that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has the fulness of the truth about the purpose of this life and how to be happy forever. One of the things I love most about the message of the Restored Gospel is how amazingly complete it is. As my family is well aware, I have a tendency to be sometimes annoyingly thorough in completing tasks. I suppose it gives me pleasure to see things completely finished. And so I love the idea that God has prepared a plan whereby ALL His children can live with Him, without any regard for race, gender, wealth, or country of origin. I believe there is no other plan that so completely provides for the whole of the human family as that which is taught in this Church.

How I live my faith

I enjoy golf, eating out, working out, movies, concerts, and many other activities but do not do them on Sundays. Instead, I use Sunday as a time to reflect on the grander purposes for this life i.e., my family, obeying God's commandments, performing service to others, etc. As a part of this committment, I try to help others do the same by not going to the grocery store, buying gas for my car, or otherwise doing things that would force others to work on this holy day. I also chose the profession of physical therapy, in part, because I believe the human body to be an amazing creation by our Maker. It was also a field where I felt I could work every day in service to other people. It brings me a lot of fulfillment to help others return to optimal function.
