Hi I'm Megan

I'm a young professional who loves different peoples and cultures. I also love sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a close, supportive family in Michigan. I love meeting people from and learning about different cultures. Currently I run a public online school. I love the outdoors--especially snowboarding and team sports--as well as reading historical fiction, traveling, and chatting with my family members.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I learned the principles of the gospel from a young age and as I tested my faith by living the principles, I was happy. The Holy Ghost confirmed in my heart the principles were true; they made sense and I felt at peace. I continue to have these feelings as I live the gospel and learn more about it. The perspective gained from following the doctrine and example of Jesus Christ has brought understanding and purpose to my life.

How I live my faith

Living the gospel of Jesus Christ is a way of life. I try to be kind and helpful to others wherever I am. Every day I spend time reading from the scriptures and praying. I dress and consume food and drink in a way to show respect for the body God gave me. Everyone has a responsibility in the church. Right now I help plan and host activities for the women in my local congregation. We work on service projects, learn a new skill to better ourselves and our families, discuss gospel principles, and simply have fun together.
