Hi I'm Karma

I'm a mother, a grandmother, a schoolbus driver and, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the mother of an adult son and three young children still at home. Also my toddler grandson and his mother live in our home. We are one big happy family. I retired from my bookkeeping business a few years ago. With the economy the way it is I have re-entered the working world as a school bus driver for special needs kids of all ages. I love my job and it does not disrupt my young kids lives too much. In my time off I like to spend quality time with my family. We are spread from California to Virginia, so I try to travel as much as possible to visit family. We enjoy "Road Trips" because we get to see so much of our country.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my father. I'm an older mom and I had not attended church for a number of years. One day my dad told me that if I put my kids in Primary I would see a big difference in them in a short time. So that day I called the closest LDS church to find out the schedule. That same afternoon, two young Missionaries knocked on the door. I know that these events are more than coincidence. I know the Holy Spirit set these things in motion so that I would know it was time to get back to Church. Now all three kids are baptized and I think that returning to my Heavenly Father's plan has saved my family. I know the church is true, I know Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and through him the Gospel has been restored as it was in Christ's time.

How I live my faith

I have just begun to participate in my ward. I am a new visiting teacher and this is very exciting to me, and a little scary. I hope I can be of service. I teach my children to live the Gospel every day in some small way. Usually around the dinner table as this is the one time of the day we are all together. I have just this summer started reading the Book of Mormon and I love the rich history it tells.
