Hi I'm Brent

Hi, I'm Brent. I'm from Alaska and I'm Mormon.

About Me

I've been married for 18+ years and have three great children. I'm a commercial fisherman, on-site water/wastewater engineer and love to fly fish for wild trout and steelhead.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon faith, but had to gain my own personal testimony if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was true or not. Through personal prayer, fasting, pondering and reading the scriptures I received a witness of the truth fullness of the gospel. This witness comes through the power of the Holy Ghost, which further testified to me that through Christ's atonement we can be forgiven of our short comings and sins and return to the presence of a loving Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

Each Sunday my family and I attend church. Sabbath day observance helps us feel the spirit and keeps my family and I grounded and focused on what matters most. My family and I also serve in the church in various ways by volunteering our time in helping others and assisting the efforts of the church. Our family also strives to pray and study scriptures together regularly. Each week our family gets together on Monday night to create family unity and learn about our Savior.
