Hi I'm Paul

I'm a Mormon

About Me

I’ve been happily married for 30 plus years, have 3 children and grandchildren. By occupation I’m an engineer working mainly with software and electronics. My hobbies are amateur radio and martial arts.

Why I am a Mormon

I was brought up a Mormon by my parents who converted to the Church when I was an infant. I am grateful for their decision to join the Church it has been and continues to be a blessing in my life. I saw my father and mother’s commitment to the Savior as they served in various capacities with the youth and adults in and outside of the Church. I’ve felt the healing power of priesthood blessings from my father restoring my health in times of need. Most importantly I have experienced answers to my personal prayers regarding the Book of Mormon and in other significant decisions and events in my life. From these experiences I know that God does live and that He cares for us I know that he sent His Son Jesus Christ to teach us, to set an example for us and to redeem us I know that the Bible and the Book of Mormon are true records that contain the Savior’s words and dealings with men anciently I know that He continues to direct the efforts of modern Apostles and Prophets today. This knowledge provides me and my family comfort and direction in today’s world and assurance about the world to come.

How I live my faith

I serve my community by participating in activities inside and outside the Church associated with emergency preparedness. I also help to organize events and activities that will help our local community be better prepared should a personal, local or regional disaster occur.
