Hi I'm Matthew

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Matthew. I am a Husband of a beautiful wife and Father of five beautiful girls. I am a cable repairman for the telephone company. I enjoy running marathons and weight training with my good buddies who are in the picture. I hope to someday complete the Ironman triatholon. But my favorite thing is my family and spending time with them. My girls love to watch me run marathons You can hear them from far away as soon as they see me and can I tell you all, it is the boost I need to finish strong. I am the Tall good looking one in the middle Haha sometimes we all need to laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it to be true. When I was younger I made some choices that took me away from the church. I always knew it to be true but I just did not want to live by the gospel standards. My wife and some good Hometeachers led me back to really taking a look at where I was and who I was. It is the quiet moments that our Heavenly Father answers are prayers if we will just take the time stop and listen. I know that the heavens are open and that our Heavenly Father hears and answers prayers. He knows us personally He knows are needs. and it is through others that he answers those prayers. I know the BOOK OF MORMON to be true. and that it was translated by the power of God through the prophet Joseph Smith. I know that Joseph Smith saw God The Father and his son Jesus Christ. I know that there is a prophet on the earth today and he is Thomas S. Monson

How I live my faith

I try to be an example to those around me. Not in words so much but more in my actions. I try to do what is right. I struggle some times with things here and there but I know I am not perfect and if I am still going forward even a little I know that I am trying my best. I guess the thing is to never give up and to have faith in my Savior.
