Hi I'm Audrea

I love God, my wonderful husband, teaching, singing and I love being Mormon.

About Me

I am passionate about teaching, singing, dancing, playing music on my clarinet, and cooking. I love to try new things. I recently got married and I love it! We enjoy reading, doing puzzles, and playing basketball together. My husband and our families mean everything to me. I am so grateful to know that families are forever.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in this church. I have been through a lot in my life so far and this is how I have come to rely on Christ. He has become my best friend through all of it. He is always there for me and helps me every step of the way. There have been many times where I feel that He is the only one listening. He never leaves my side. He never gives us more than we can handle. If he commands us to do something, He will always provide a way for it to be accomplished. I have always had a testimony of this gospel as long as I can remember, but one of the first experiences I remember when I started gaining my own testimony and didn't rely so much on my parents' was probably when I was 8. I had just recently gotten baptized and the primary was singing in sacrament meeting. I got up and we all sang "A Child's Prayer." As we sang that song, I was filled with the spirit. I was only 8, but I tell you I felt the spirit so strongly and I recognized it. I started crying and I couldn't stop. I knew that my Savior loved me and that He listens to our prayers. Over the years I have had many experiences that have strengthened and expanded my testimony in this gospel, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. There is no way that I could deny that this is the true church and that Christ is at the head of it. I love it and am thankful that I have it everyday of my life.

How I live my faith

"Faith is like a little seed, if planted it will grow." This is how I feel my faith is: sometimes it is just a little seed, sometimes I feel like that is all I can give, but other times I feel that it is growing tremendously and that I am on some sort of spiritual "high". I live my faith every day by reading the scriptures, praying, and listening to the Spirit. Without faith I surely would be confused and lost a lot of the time. It is what keeps me going when I don't know what to do next in life. Right now, my husband and I are looking for work and it is a very trying time in our lives. We rely so much on faith knowing that things will work out if we do our best and put our trust in God. By faith I have come to know that God lives and loves us. I know that our Savior, Jesus Christ came to earth to be the perfect example for us. He died for each one of us so that we may return to live with Him and our Heavenly Father. How grateful I am that we don't have to go through this life in the dark by ourselves. All we have to do is have faith and trust in God.
