Hi I'm Janet

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 3 and grandmother of 8. I love gardening and reading. I enjoy using the computer in various ways. I was a volunteer for the 1996 olympics in Atlanta, Georgia.

Why I am a Mormon

As a little girl I always felt the need to know my Savior. I was of the prostant faith and my family didn't attend church often. My older sister and I would walk to a church that was close to our home but my parents never went. The first time I attended a Mormon church was at the age of 11 with a neighborhood friend. From my first time attending a sacrament meeting I knew I wanted to belong to the church. My dreams came true months later when my whole family was baptized. The Holy Ghost spoke to the depths of my soul and comfirmed the truthfulness of the gospel at that tender age. I have never looked back.

How I live my faith

I attend church every week. I pray and read scripture daily. I have served in various positions of service and teaching over the years. I have taught scripture study to the youth of the church week days before they go to school. I have taught various aged children on Sundays. I have and still do serve the women of the church by making personal visits each month to their homes and share a gospel message and offer service if needed. I have served in various leadership positions both to the women and youth. I have helped organize community events. My greatest joy is to serve others and especially teach the wonderful message of salvation of our Savior Jesus Christ offers each of us.
