Hi I'm Jonathan

I love snow more that air, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love winter weather and snow sports. I like working on electronics, music equipment and I love being out of the house working, playing, and doing things with friends. My family means everything to me and since I've grown a little being away from home I now really appreciate how my parents raised me and taught me how to respect other people. I'm loving life and am excited to make a positive impact in the world!

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents are members of the church, so I was raised going to church. Most of my friends however are not members, so I was introduced to a lot of different ideas and religions. I at times in my life have really questioned why it is that "mormons" believe what it is that they believe. I decided that the only way to know what was true was to really ask God. He let me know as I read from the Book of Mormon and prayed. It wasn't right away though, but by the small whisperings from the Holy Ghost I came to know that what my parents had taught me from my youth is true.

How I live my faith

Well, right now I'm serving a two year mission for the Church. But really I had to decide if it was what God really wanted for me. I know God always answers prayers, and he definitely let me know this is where I need to be. Each and every day I just try to follow his will for me and help lift all those I see, even if it's just a friendly smile or a kind word.

Who was Joseph Smith?

Joseph Smith was a prophet of God just as Moses, Abraham or Noah were in times past. The Bible says in Amos 3 verse 7 that "surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." God still loves us, so he'd still help us by sending someone to speak to us for him, to lead us and guide us.  Show more Show less

How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

Listen to the missionaries. Ask them questions, and see if their message is true. Read from the Book of Mormon, compare it to the Bible, pray and ask God to let you know by the Spirit if it's what you should do. When you come to know for yourself that it's true you'll want to be baptized, because you know it's what God would want for you-to be happy!  Show more Show less
