Hi I'm Doug N.

I have chosen to be Mormon.

About Me

Professionally, I am a workplace safety consultant. My clients are business owners. They hire me because I save them lots of money on their Workers' Compensation Insurance. But my heart is with their employees. My hope for them is that they go home, after work each day, healthy and able to continue to provide for their families. I am a family man. I am happily married. We have three sons who are also happily married.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born to Mormon parents, that is not the reason I am one today. Having grown up in Sourthern California, during the turbulent "Hippie" era of the "60's, I learned at a young age to do my own thinking. That means, I am in the habit of asking questions, considering the answers deeply and then making a decision. And that is what I have done concerning lifestyle and religion. When Jesus Christ lived as a mortal, he extended an invitation to study his doctrine and decide, through prayerful consideration to a loving Father in Heaven. That same invitation extends to each of us today. That is an invitation that I have taken seriously. And after a great deal of study and prayer I have come to the conclusion that this is the "path" that my Heavenly Father wants me to take. The implication here is that since both you and I share the same Father in Heaven, this "path" called Mormonism is the one that He wants you to take also. It is my sincere prayer that you will give the doctrines of Mormonism serious consideration. Because if you do, you will come to the same conclusion that I have.

How I live my faith

I'll admit that being a Mormon is not easy. But, in "The End" it is worth it.
