Hi I'm Dana

I grew up in Utah, served a mission in Brazil, and now live in Arkansas. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Dana. My beautiful wife and I have 4 wonderful children, 3 boys and 1 girl. I served a mission in Brazil from 1988 to 1990. I love photography, cars, roller coasters, mountain and road biking, camping, hiking, and art.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a strong testimony of the restored gospel. When I was 15, I prayed to know if the Book of Mormon was true and received a confirmation in my mind and heart that it was true. I don't remember when I received a full testimony of the Prophet Joseph Smith, but I know that I have never doubted that he was, and still is, a true Prophet of God. I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. I believe it with my whole soul. I am brought closer to him and his teachings by attending church, and reading the Book of Mormon and the Bible. I love the people of the church. I know that they have the same standards that I hold dear, and show their love for their neighbors and friends through acts of service and friendship. I love being around them each week.

How I live my faith

In our family, we read the scriptures, attend church on Sunday, and attend youth night during the week. I love to help others and am often found helping families move, fix broken cars, or do small home repairs. I find joy in service. I treat my family with respect, and love them with all my heart. I love sharing my faith with others in missionary efforts.
