Hi I'm Jim

I grew up in Kentucky, and was raised on a farm. I'm a retired machinist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love fishing! I usually go on hikes on a daily basis, and I really enjoy gardening. Especially when it comes to growing vegetables. I'm also a retired tree climber! I love the outdoors because I feel like we can learn a lot about Heavenly Father, and all of his wonderful creations.

Why I am a Mormon

The first Mormon I met, I knew there was something different about him. I was seeing the missionaries at the time, and felt prompted by Heavenly Father that he had a work for me to do, and if I didn't want to do it, I knew he would love me just as much. So, I decided to join the church, and try it out for one year to see if it was true, and if it was for me. I've now been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ for about 30 years. I know it's true, and its been such a blessing to my life. I still have a work that God wants me to continue doing, and I'm sticking with it!

How I live my faith

I do my best to fulfill my callings, and I'm as obedient as I can be. Right now, I am a temple worker, and I'm a member of the Bishopric in our home ward. The blessings my family recieve are incredible.
