Hi I'm Brad

I'm a Civil Engineer and Officer in the Navy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Husband and father of three kids. Civil Engineer. Naval Officer. Motorcycles, Scouting with my son, swimming, wood working.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but that doesn’t mean I’m not a convert. Like investigators from other churches I too had to read the Book of Mormon and pray and ask if it is true. I also had to gain a testimony that Joseph Smith was truly a prophet of God and that this church is actually God’s Church restored. Unlike investigators, however, I grew up hearing of phenomenal answers to prayers or miraculous events which removed all doubt of divine intervention from the minds of the individuals so affected. Eventually I learned how Heavenly Father answers my prayers and teaches me using the subtle influences of the Holy Ghost. It would be too hard to write all of the reasons I remain a member but I will list the ones most prominent in my life, Knowing Who I Am, Knowing Why I’m Here, Knowing What Happens After Death, Having the Companionship of the Holy Ghost, Having a Marriage Sealed for all Eternity and an Eternal Family, Being able to use the priesthood of God to bless my family and others..

How I live my faith

I visit other members of the church, bring them messages from the local leaders, and look for ways that I or the congregation family can help them. I support and help the Cub Scouts instructing at meetings, leading activities, and mentoring future leaders.
