Hi I'm Julie

I love peanut butter and chocolate, cold cereal, I live in Canada, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an expectant mom, married, working with deaf and hard of hearing and as a closed captioner. I love to play the piano and guitar, and I love to water ski. I come from a large family and family is a big part of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with the gospel in my life and learned the principles at an early age. But I think we all go through a time where we question what our parents have taught us, and we want to find out who we really are, and what we really believe in. This time for me was through my teenage years. I remember praying at different times whether or not certain principles were true. I remember age 12 after reading the Book of Mormon whether it was true and recieving an answer that it was. For me the church is not a crutch to lean on when times get hard or a glimpse of hope in a dark world, it is something that I know to be true. After feeling my Savior's love, I could never deny the truth that I know.

How I live my faith

My husband and I teach sunday school to young girls and boys. I try to visit a couple of sisters that I have been assigned to each month and see how they are doing and if there is anything that I can help them with.
